During our MASC491: User Experience class, we talked about our favorite social media accounts and why we follow them. Here are my top five social media accounts:
1)Adam Schefter (Twitter: @AdamSchefter) In my opinion, he’s the most reliable sports reporter. Seems to always be the first to report any major sports news so I stay updated by following him.
2)Professor Mary Owens (Twitter: @mao2u2) Used to have to follower her for my journalism class. She seems to always be on twitter keeping up with international and national news and she’s a source that I trust.
3)Stab Magazine (Instagram: @stab) Surfing brand that keeps up with worldwide surf industry news, events, contests, etc. Reliable source I use to keep up with the surfing industry.
4)Jamie O’Brien (Instagram: @whoisjob) Professional surfer that lives in Oahu, has a vlog and updates it weekly. Posts funny and cool surfing/traveling videos of the places they visit.
5)Pat McAfee (Twitter: @PatMcAfeeShow) Ex-NFL player that now has a daily sports podcast. I don’t keep up with him every day, but he does do a good job reporting sports news with a good and original sense of humor.
